Broward County Psychological Association. Her twenty-one (21) years of
experience with divorced parents and children provide a strong
foundation for her commitment to “CHILDREN
FIRST.”
Dr. Marotta has personally created
a positive parenting team with her son’s father. Her son, Christopher,
coped with separate parenting styles from age one. Dr. Marotta’s own
personal journey has been as a single mother, coping with the presence
of a stepmother, remarriage, and blended family issues. Christopher is
now attending Bowdoin College in Maine. Her personal experience
developing a parenting team, coupled with her clinical experience, are a
dynamic combination.
“I have a great respect for the challenges of parenting while coping
with feelings of hurt, rejection, and abandonment. Children do not
come with a manual and our life experience does not prepare us for
the many challenges of parenting. It is an honor to be invited into
parents lives to maintain the focus on the welfare and positive health
of children.” |
