About Maureen
Maureen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who enjoys working with adolescents and adults. Maureen has experience working with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationships, parenting skills and adolescents. Maureen is also a qualified supervisor for the state of Florida and is able to supervise interns for licensure. By using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior techniques, she is able to engage teenagers so as to help increase their motivation for positive chance both individually and within their family. Maureen is able to provide a safe and nurturing environment to help patients talk openly and also feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
